Training Log Up
Well that was rather more difficult than expected.
My little training log app is up, and can be found here. I'll be posting training stuff there from now on. It's really, really rough, but I have less time to devote to the coding than I expected, and I just want it up so I can stop dumping training log entries here, knowing I'll eventually have to move them and do the data cleanup.
Now, the training log isn't a blog. No way. It may look like a blog, and have very bloggish qualities, but a blog it aint. It's just my spot to track what I've been doing. Really, I don't expect it to be interesting to anyone but me.
Narratives and pictures of hikes, rides, and other adventures will be here. Technical details and notes will be in the training log. (Though I do play to grab the RSS feed from the training log and present it as part of the DMG front page, just for grins.)
The root of the problem turned out to be that I'd somehow rigged my development environment to point to Java EE 5.0.2 instead of 4.1.2, as required by my server. A couple of things masked this. (Obtuse error messages from my IDE, and lack of sleep on my part.)
So, the next thing here at DMG: a front page redesign, which will include the latest Training Log entries.
