Just When you Think You're Out...

...they pull you back in. $840 in car repairs today. Back to lean times for a while.

I thank the almighty every day that my girlfriend likes my cooking and mountain biking is free.

Dude, your Farfegn?gen is showing. ;)

Ok, on a serious note, sorry to hear of the problems. I had thought that VW was putting out good cars, but between you and Adam, the problems seem to be a bit more than acceptable.

So, when are you cooking for us?!

awww...babes,yup, your girlfriend does like home cooked food better than eating out, and its awesome that you're a pretty good cook...and you look good in an "apron" :0)
Believe me, I'm strongly considering a new car at this point. But this one's paid for, and this should be the last round of major repairs for quite a while. If it turns up sick like this again, I'll be dumping it for a used Toyota or something.
Erg. Didn't finish my thought: Yeah, $840 is a lot to pay to get it fixed. But if it stays fixed even for just 3 months, I'm *still* better off this way than getting a new car. As long as the dealership keeps giving me loaner cars, and as long as I work for a car parts company and can get parts at cost, I'll keep patching my little Jetta back together.
