I Heart Krav Maga
Got back to Krav last night. I went to the new Ground Fighting class, which was great. It was really, really cool to be back in class, and to start integrating what I've learned in Jiu Jitsu with Krav's love of throwing elbows.
After an hour of ground work, I was pretty beat, and my thumb had gotten jammed a couple of times, so I didn't stick around for the Krav 2/3 class. Instead, I did a "park loop" workout, and threw in two 10-rep box jump sets at the end to help get my mountain bike legs back.
That left me wiped out and wobbly, and today I'm weak and sore. I'll eat my Wheaties today, get good sleep tonight, and hit Krav 1 and 2 on Wednesday night. The next couple of weeks are going to be tough, physically. Ramping back up to my usual workout schedule is going to be great, but it's also going to mean lots of sore days.
