First Ride of 2009
I haven't been out on my bike for a while, so I was really excited to head out to Cheeseboro Canyon for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon. I rode out to Shepherd's Flat, then west along the Sheep Corral trail and up the Edison road to where it looks out over both the western end of the Sheep Corral trail to the south, and Las Virgenes Canyon to the north. Beautiful spot.
I'll have more and more time over the next couple months' worth of Saturdays to get back in the groove and explore more local trails. I'm planning to get over to Malibu Creek State Park at some point (once my legs and sit bones are strong again), and I'd love spend more time exploring Sycamore Canyon. So many great local trails! I can't wait!
