Introducing Henri!

Last week my girlfriend and I adopted a wonderful little pup, a mutt that actually picked us. She jumped right up into my lap, and started chewing on the buttons on my shirt. And then made puppy eyes (because she's, y'know, a puppy) at Janell, and we were too taken with her not to take her home.

She's wonderful. She's about 13 weeks old, and once she's had all her shots, we'll have a little puppy debutante ball or something. Right now, she's just all into making her little ugly doll squeak and dragging old t-shirts around.

Exactly! Unfortunately, our wonderful dog got pretty sick this week. Spent Sunday at the emergency vet, and now she's home on 24-hr care. Time for her meds!

Unfortunately, it looks like Janell and I picked a name that has doomed our dog to a lifetime of people thinking she's a boy. How did we start with "Henrietta", and end up with a French men's name? Gonna take *so* much more care in picking names for kids...
