I've steadily been upgrading the components on my 2004 Giant XtC2. Back in April, I swapped the calipers for disc brakes (Avid BB7s) and upgraded the stock wheels (which were stiff and durable, but heavy) to Mavic Crosstrails. Now I'm working on getting a new fork (hoping to get my hands on a Fox F100 FIT RLC.

After that, I'll replace my aging drivetrain (probably Shimano Deore XT).

So, I should plan on replacing my frame sometime in mid 2011. I might have to go carbon. And when that happens, my bike might end up looking a lot like the one above (a 2010 Giant XtC Advanced).

Yes, this was just a excues for me to post a picture of a pretty bike. But it's so, so pretty.
