Weight Training

Last night I headed out to the garage for my twice-weekly weight session. It lasted less than 15 minutes, and I left wobbly, and today I'm a little sore. Ready? Here it is:

  • goblet squat: 2 x 5 @ 80#
  • one-arm row: 2 x 5 @ 80#
  • stiff-leg deadlift: 2 x 5 @ 80#
  • push-up: 2 x 8 @ BW

And then I went inside and stretched. (10 min.)

That's it. We have five out of Dan John's six fundamental movements. (I'm missing loaded carries.) The reps target strength, and the volume is enough to force my body to adapt.

Not bad for 25 minutes.
