Recovery Week
I backed off a bit this week. Just 2½ hours of saddle time. I tried to keep the quality up, though: warm up, climb, then get a good meal. I want to let my body recover, but I also want to stay accustomed to hard efforts. Despite the low mileage and saddle time, I stacked up about 2,900 ft. of elevation gain. And I set new PRs on both major descents this week, which makes me happy.
So short, sharp rides will continue until my urge to suffer returns.
