The Off Switch, Day 1
My curse is simple: I want more hours in the day. I get home at
night, and I want more quiet time to wind down. Or I want to get the
apartment clean before going to bed, and then I want to wind
down. The net result is that my constant response to sleep is, "not
yet."
So, last night, I put the following plan into action: Slow down, do the things that matter, and above all else, focus on one thing at a time.
So I climbed, ate dinner and watched the latest West Wing, and then read until I fell asleep a little before midnight.
So far, so good. (So what?)
