Kind of hit and miss, really. I've given myself checks for camping out and biking, even though I didn't strictly keep to the wording. The year went pretty damn well, and I did a lot of cool stuff that I didn't plan on, so I'm not going to sweat the details.
So, what do I want for this year? In looking at last year's resolutions, I think they're too numerous and too specific. So I'm sticking to basics this year.
- Pay down my debt.
- Maintain my body weight below 175 lbs.
- Take at least one 4-day camping trip.
- Test for my orange belt in Krav Maga.
- Do fun stuff to stay in shape.
- See four big-ticket concerts this year.
- Draw regularly.
- Play music regularly.
That last one is going to be the biggest challenge. I really want to play the tuba again, but the time commitment is heavy. But it is something I want, so it's on the list. Either I'll pick up the guitar, or I'll pick up the tuba. Either way, I'm happy.
