Took tonight for myself and got out on my bike for the first time in ages. Wow, did I feel rusty. But I got up and over Rocky Peak and down Chumash and lived to tell the tale, so I guess I'm not too far gone.

Back when I did my little dance over the rock garden, I dropped a tire lever somewhere just off the trail near where I pulled off to fix my flat. Today I finally remembered to look for it again. Lo and behold, it was sitting right where it's been for the last six months, right where I dropped it.

Anyway, great ride, and now I'm going to have a little coffee (decaf) and cookies (finishing off a batch I put in the freezer before leaving town), and go to bed. G'night all!
