DMGIf This Then That
Last week, Merlin Mann mentioned if this then that in passing, and I thought I'd check it out.
It's a service that lets you wire your different online accounts together. For instance, you can tell it to save copies of all your Facebook images to a folder in Dropbox. Or you can tell it to send a Boxcar notification whenever someone comments on your blog. Or notify me when a new scanned document drops into my "Scans" folder.
So far, it's incredibly useful and easy. Amazing tool.
And as you can see, I've been playing with Boxcar, a notifications app for iOS. It's not everything I want, but it's pretty good. I also like Prowl, which seems more capable, but is also a lot less self-explanatory. (And isn't yet supported by ifttt.)
